The following key dates, terms and conditions apply to all entries for the Analytics & AI Awards by the Analytics Institute:
The decisions of the judges for shortlist are final and conclusive. No discussion or correspondence will be entered into.
Entrants must be based on the island of Ireland.
Each entry must be submitted on an official entry portal online, within each award category, via awards.analyticsinstitute.org.
The entrant is the person who, if a finalist, would be put forward to members of the Analytics Institute for voting and, if a winner, would accept the award on the day. Entrants do not have to be a member of The Analytics Institute to apply.
All sectors are regarded equally.
Please ensure that your company is happy that your name and picture is the one that will appear in all publicity if you are successful in reaching the finals.
If you are an organisation nominating your client, please ensure that you are both in agreement about the company name and the entrant’s name as this is the one that appears as the finalist. Please note that dual entries are not accepted.
The initial adjudication of entries to determine the finalists for each award will be based on information provided on the word document submitted for entry. The judges will be looking for responses based on the Award Criteria for each award category. A Word document of no more than 1,500 words in total is required for entry.
Additional documentation will be accepted to support each entry.
Only members of the judging panel will have access to the entry form and any additional supporting documentation in Phase I of the process for the purpose of shortlisting.
The judging panel will assess entries against each award criteria.
The judging panel will make a shortlist of three per award category.
Each judge must declare any conflict of interest with any entry. In the event that a judge is working in the same organisation as the entrant, they will be required to step back from assessing this particular award category.
Once a shortlist has been agreed for each award category, members of the Analytics Institute will be invited to vote online for the deserved winners, with the exception of the Fellowship Award.
If shortlisted, each entrant agrees to prepare a summary of their submission of maximum 500 words by Tuesday 31st March 2020. Only this summary of 500 words will be shared with members for online voting purposes, along with the name of the person and organisation.
Each entrant agrees for their name and organisation name to be shared with members of the Analytics Institute, to allow for members to vote.
Only member organisations and professional members are entitled to vote. Each member organisation is allowed 10 votes per organisation. Each professional member is allowed 1 vote per person.
Every member that takes part in voting will be required to submit their email for each category they vote in. This email will be verified by The Analytics Institute to confirm that the email is from a valid member. Any votes received from non-members will be discounted.
No member can vote for their own team member, team or project for any award category. The Analytics Institute will discount any votes received by members for their own team member, team or project.
The number of Fellowships will be based on the level and quality of nominations. The Judging Committee will be given the autonomy to decide for this category only. The decisions of the judges are final and conclusive. No discussion or correspondence will be entered into.
When you submit your entry, you are allowing The Analytics Institute to use your personal details to process your entry. In the event of there being a problem with your entry we will communicate with you via telephone, email or letter.
