We really enjoyed our October event hosted by DAA at Dublin Airport. This interactive event showcased the unique and diverse set of analytics challenges that the airport environment presents and how daa is using data & analytics as a strategic enabler to improve the passenger experience across all aspects of the passenger journey.

DAA shared how data science is used in the planning process, the role real-time data plays in improving operational and commercial decision making and why IOT is playing an increasingly critical role across the airport.

The Theme for the event was ‘The Connected Airport – Analytics as a Strategic Asset’.

Our speakers included:

Valerie Price – Head of Strategy Dublin Airport. ‘The role of analytics in business strategy ‘
Marc Mullan – VP of Data & Analytics DAA ‘Developing a data culture across the enterprise’
Jan Richards – Head of Insights Dublin Airport “Delivering a differentiated passenger experience’

This event also included 5 interactive breakout areas where our subject matter experts shared how analytics is used at every stage of the passenger journey. This  provided an overview of key business challenges and how daa are using data & analytics to unlock new insights to drive data driven decision making.
