An Garda Síochána is the national police service of Ireland.  The Analysis Service is a specialist section of An Garda Síochána that provides high quality analysis to support the delivery of policing across the country. 

Crime and Data Analysts provide specialist support to operational and strategic policing through accurate and systematic analysis of a wide range of information sources, and the dissemination of this analysis in an accessible format to key stakeholders. Successful candidates will have the ability to understand and identify patterns and trends in information sources and make recommendations on the basis of analysis to support policing decision making.

Successful candidates will be creative problem solvers who enjoy working with qualitative and quantitative data, are focused on achieving quality results against tight deadlines and have effective communication skills, both written and oral.
