Senior ICT Specialist Networks and Security in the Civil Service

The Senior ICT Specialist - Networks and Security role, at Higher Executive Officer level, will attract candidates with an interest in further developing their networks/ security career in areas such as telecommunications and networking, ICT and cyber security and cloud computing.
A panel will be formed from this competition to fill vacancies in Civil Service Departments and Offices and Senior ICT Specialist roles in other organisations such as the State Laboratory and An Garda Síochána. It is envisaged that the majority of vacancies arising over the lifetime of the panel will be located in Dublin. However, a limited number of vacancies may also arise in regional locations which may be filled from this panel.
