She has advised high-profile bodies such as the EU and UN on risk management and security policy, and her research at Dublin City University focuses on the intersection of safety and technology. As co-founder and CEO of Kowroo, she leads the development of AI-driven solutions that put users back at the heart of travel risk management.

Kevin McCarthy

Kevin is an experienced academic researcher turned technology startup founder. With a PhD in the area of recommender systems and personalization, Kevin has over 10 years of academic research experience as part of Prof. Barry Smyth’s research group in the Clarity and Insight centres in University College Dublin. In 2016, he co-founded RecommenderX, with the goal of providing analytics and AI-based solutions to enterprise challenges.
