This presentation explores how Irish Life is using CARA - our Claims AI Reasoning Agent - to deliver customer experiences that were made possible by recent AI technology advances. CARA blends AI technologies, including intelligent document processing with domain-specific AI reasoning, to assess claims rapidly and accurately. By automating routine tasks and interpreting complex documentation, it empowers teams to focus on where it matters most for our customers.
Martin is the Head of AI Solutions for the Irish Life Group. He is responsible for leading out on Irish Life’s AI discovery, to identify and explore opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence to enhance business operations and deliver strategic value for the organisation.
A qualified actuary, Martin has held progressively senior roles across several actuarial and innovation functions within Irish Life Group. He is an active member of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland and serves on the Risk Management in a Digital World working partyofthe Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
Martin’s expertise lies in aligning technological innovation with business outcomes, and he is committed to driving transformation that benefits both the organisation and its customers.
