Larry Mullen is a healthcare analytics and AI executive with more than two decades of experience leading data-driven transformation. As SVP of Analytics at Optum Ireland, he oversees a global team of over 750 analytics, data science and AI professionals delivering solutions that improve healthcare quality, affordability and operational performance. He is passionate about turning emerging technologies into real business value, scaling talent, and building AI-enabled organisations that create measurable impact for customers, healthcare providers, and patients
As the country lead, Alan is responsible for the successful adoption of SAS’s Data and AI capabilities across Finance, Public Sector and Health & Life Science customers in Ireland. Alan studied Electronic Engineering at UCD before a career in Financial Services with Credit Suisse, Depfa Bank Plc and Accenture where he worked in Market Risk, Risk Analytics and Digital Transformation.
Alan’s focus and passion is in empowering his customers and their teams with new and innovative technologies to drive smarter and faster decisions. To enable his passion Alan has built strong and enduring relationships in major Irish clients including AIB, PTSB and Bank of Ireland.
Alan is married, with three sons and a very small dog, lives in Drumcondra, Dublin. He is a huge sports fan and is a member of CLG Na Fianna.
John Lyons is ProStrategy’s Practice Director for Analytics & Business Performance Management. He is passionate about empowering clients to optimise performance through data analytics & AI. With over two decades' experience in Data Analytics and Technology enabled business transformation, John has a proven track-record of driving efficiency and helping clients meet their business objectives.
