The Customer Insight Award recognises organisations that have successfully developed customer insight in an innovative way thereby delivering a clear business impact. This includes projects that use analytics and data-driven approaches to gain insight into customer behaviour and/or preferences.
Award Criteria
The following criteria will be used by our judging panel to assess applications:
  • Project Strategy & Objectives
  • Innovative Approach
  • Systems/Technology
  • Impact for the Business
  • Evidence of Success

Innovation Award Innovation Award

The Innovation Award recognises achievement in the use of a progressive, analytics-based approach to solve a business challenge or to create new business opportunities. This innovative approach can be people, business or technology based and has analytics at its core.

The following criteria will be used by our judging panel to assess applications:
  • Description of Challenge/Opportunity
  • Outline of Innovative Business Solution
  • Detail on Analytics-Based Approach
  • Performance Outcome/Results

The AI Project Award recognises an organisation that has implemented an AI solution to improve business or organisational performance.

The Business Value award recognises achievement in an organisation’s implementation of data and analytics to boost business outcomes and demonstrates how analytics has added real business value to the organisation.

  • Challenges Faced Before Adoption of Analytics
  • Describe Analytics Approach Adopted
  • Demonstrate the Value Add that Analytics has Provided

Public Sector Project Award Public Sector Project Award

The Public Sector Project Award recognises excellence in analytics within the Public Sector and the contribution analytics makes to Irish life and society as a whole. This award category focuses on analytics projects that have helped to transform or progress functions within state, semi state or local government organisations in the interest of citizens.
The impact on society can stem from new analytical technology itself or from the innovative ways analytics is being leveraged.
Award Criteria

The Social Impact Award recognises an organisation, project or initiative which has utilised data analytics (and/or AI) to the general benefit of society. Social good can include for profit or not for profit initiatives that have had a positive impact on society or have helped to address a social issue to improve the lives of those impacted.
Entries are welcomed from all sectors – public, private and charitable.
Award Criteria
The following criteria will be used by our judging panel to assess applications:
  • Need for identification
  • Use of data analytics (and/or) AI
  • Social benefit achieved

The Emerging Technology Award recognises organisations applying analytics technology to augment, improve, or automate human decision-making for better business and customer outcomes. This award recognises an organisation that has successfully employed new technology in areas such as IOT, Edge Computing, Machine Learning or RPA.

The following criteria will be used by our judging panel to assess applications:
  • Background of project.
  • Demonstrate how this project is a new approach using emerging technology
  • Demonstrate how this initiative has had a positive business or organisational impact
  • Outline key learnings from this initiative

An individual cannot nominate themselves in this category. They must be nominated by their team, a team member, their manager or a credible third party that has had direct experience working with the nominee.
Award Criteria
The following criteria will be used by our judging panel to assess applications:
  • Name of individual being nominated & name of person who has nominated them
  • Background of the nominated leader - key attributes, skills and experience
  • The role of the leader in the organisation 
  • Analytics within the organisation and how this leader has championed data driven approaches
