From Data to Decisions: Interactive Mapping & Spatial Analysis

Designed for business analysts, GIS professionals, planners, data analysts, public sector teams, researchers, and decision-makers, this hands-on seminar demonstrates how Esri's mapping and spatial analytics technology can transform data into actionable insights.

The session begins by introducing participants to the techniques used to create interactive maps using quantitative data from a variety of sources, including Census 2022 data from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) and content from Esri's data libraries. Participants will then learn how to use these maps and datasets to perform common spatial analysis workflows such as drive-time analysis, geo-enrichment, site selection, reporting, and infographic creation.

Through practical examples, attendees will discover how to visualize and explore data, uncover patterns and trends, enrich their analysis with authoritative geographic content, customize map styles and symbols, and share compelling map-based stories that support evidence-based decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and positive organizational change.
