Andrew Browne

Sales Director, Snowflake

Andrew holds a BA in ICT from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in MIS also from Trinity College Dublin. Andrew has been working in technology sales for the past 20 years and his career has followed the shift from on premise hardware and software working with Dell, BMC and Oracle to today's fully cloud based IT systems with Qualtrics, ServiceNow and currently Snowflake.

His move to Snowflake brings him back to his academic roots where he majored in Relational Database Systems. Andrew has experience working on large IT change programmes across a wide array of verticals including, Telecoms, Financial Services, Pharma, Retail and Manufacturing.

Susie Harding

Senior Manager Data Science & Analytics, EY

As VP of Data Science at Arvoia, Dr Susie Harding has been leading the development of the Arvoia behavioural cloud over the last number of years. This includes the development of our proprietary 6D behavioural framework to transform raw data into behavioural data & understanding, the identification of key behavioural-driven AI use cases to solve problems in the Car Rental, Mobility, Hospitality & Telco sectors as well as introducing an end-to-end predictive modelling recommendations framework which puts Arvoia at the forefront of deep learning and behavioural insight.

With more than 10 years of experience, Susie has a unique combination of theoretical expertise from her years completing a PhD in biostatistics at University College Dublin, coupled with experience building big data, behavioural science-driven AI solutions at some of the world’s largest online gaming sites such as PokerStars, Full Tilt and Matchbook.

Ciaran Hickey

AI & Data Partner, EY

Ciarán Hickey is a Partner at EY and a delivery partner for AI transformation, leading EY and client teams on their journey to design, build, and scale AI solutions. He leads a practice of 300+ AI and Data professionals across Europe, as well as EY’s AI Lab, the firm’s hub for innovation, experimentation, and applied AI, and the Centre of Excellence for building AI solutions both internally and for clients.Withover 14 years’ experience in Data Science and AI, Ciarán combines deep technical expertise with a focus on bringing new andemergingmethodologies into production. His work spans advanced model development, AI solution deployment, and embedding Responsible AI best practices from the start.Heworks closely with EY’s alliance partners to deliver complex, high-impact AI programs across industries. In 2020, he was recognised as Ireland’s Analytics Practitioner of the Year, and he also lectures part-time in AI and machine learning, sharing his expertise with the next generation of practitioners.

Colin Kane

Director of Applied Intelligence, KPMG

Colin Kane is the Director of Customer Analytics in Group Marketing at Bank of Ireland. Colin has 15 years’ experience across a wide range of Data and Analytics programmes in Financial service. Colin has experience in Finance, Risk, Marketing, analysis to support Customers in financial difficulty and much more. Currently Colin is responsible for Marketing Effectiveness, Commercial Insights and Analytics for data driven customer engagement.

Alex Manek

Director Analytics, EY

Alex has deep IT experience garnered over a career spanning 3 decades. A Director within the EY Data and Analytics practice for the last 4 years, Alex has engaged with a number of private and public sector clients to assess their analytical maturity; with a particular focus on methodology and organisational structure.

Alex has also architected a number of web based applications addressing the tax space that embed machine learning into business processes.

Vinka Maras

Vinka is a Senior Data Manager, passionate about breaching the gap between business and IT in understanding data-related challenges. She provides effective management across the full breadth of data activities.

She is experienced in leading and motivating cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals and enjoys empowering organisations to recognize the real value of data and view it as a strategic asset.

Rory Martin

Head of Commercial Strategy, Sky

The Head of Commercial Strategy at Sky, Rory is responsible for driving the vision for Sky Ireland. He previously held the role of Head of Insights, building a Research and Analytics function for Sky Ireland. During his career he has conceived and led transformational change programs delivering in the telecoms, entertainment and betting industries.

Rory’s key strength is the ability to interpret complicated analytics and translate them into simple stories that can be understood and actioned across all levels and functions in the business. Rory is passionate about driving more succinct and simple communications in business.

Patrick O'Sullivan

Director and Head of Data Analytics & AI - Lifesciences, EY

Patrick is currently a Global Digital Integration Manager within the Janssen Supply Chain with key focus on the Partnership & External Supply Organisation. Patrick has held roles across the supply chain on the integration of digital and emerging technology at internal site, platform and network level across the Janssen organisation. He has key focus and passion on creation of business strategy surrounding advanced analytics solutions and ensuring Technology is integrated into the business in a robust and sustainable manner.

Patrick’s work has contributed greatly to many of the recent advanced analytics successes across Janssens Manufacturing Platform. More recently the work Patrick lead was one of the key initiatives that supported the world economic forum recognizing the Janssens Biologics facility in Cork, Ireland with lighthouse status. Additionally, Patrick has led the advanced analytics and technology efforts to support Production of J&Js Covid-19 Vaccine across Janssens internal and external facilities and currently is scaling this technology to deploy across Janssens wider external manufacturing network.
