Kevin O’Callaghan
Kevin O’Callaghan is Head of Data and Analytics at Teamwork.com whose mission is to make teams that deliver client work efficient, organized, profitable and happy.
He was the kid who revelled in bar charts, questions and data visualization! Today, Kevin enjoys driving a culture of data informed decision-making in numerous industries, both global and local. He has spoken at numerous industry events and is passionate about hearing new perspectives on data strategy, governance, analytics and storytelling and sharing the wisdom with the community!
Colin Melody
Colin is a Director in Consulting in the Artificial Intelligence and Data (AI&D) team within the Deloitte Ireland member firm. He has over 10 years working in AI&D with significant experience within financial services and insurance. He supports clients in defining and building their AI and Data strategy and capabilities ensuring they have the right focus across data, technology, people and processes in order to maximise their use of data and AI in trustworthy and ethical way.
Qualifications include:
Colin’s primary qualifications include a Phd in computational astrophysics and a Masters in high performance computing.
Rob Haniver
Rob is a Partner and is an EY Law Ireland leader in digital law. Rob works with global and domestic organizations on the development and rollout of innovative technologies with a focus on digital and privacy laws, acting as a trusted advisor at senior level. He advises on Web3 and metaverse opportunities, data protection (GDPR) and privacy, Internet of Things, m-commerce, FinTech, Reg-Tech, technology procurement, outsourcing and transformation projects, including strategic legal due diligence.
Qualifications Include:
Irish qualified lawyer and member of the Law Society of Ireland.
Bachelor’s degree in Business and Legal Studies (BBLS) from University College Dublin.
Diploma in Corporate Law and Governance from the Law Society of Ireland. Irish and European qualified Trade Mark Attorney.
Previously qualified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
George Thekekara
George is a Manager with the Data privacy practice of Deloitte Ireland. He has more than 10 years of working experience in providing Data protection and Information Security services for various clients.
He has been involved in supporting clients specifically in the TMT sector on Digital markets Act (DMA) readiness.
He has also conducted vendor risk assessments, internal audits, IT controls assurance, been involved in ISMS implementation and has also performed Quality Assurance services.
He has led several training sessions and workshops on information Security and Digital ethics. He is specialized in Privacy impact assessments, GDPR readiness, digital ethics, Information Privacy and Protection, Cybersecurity Framework Study & Benchmarking, ISMS, ITIL, Risk & Compliance, Data Classification and Data Governance.
Alex Manek
Alex has deep IT experience garnered over a career spanning 3 decades. A Director within the EY Data and Analytics practice for the last 4 years, Alex has engaged with a number of private and public sector clients to assess their analytical maturity; with a particular focus on methodology and organisational structure. Alex has also architected a number of web based applications addressing the tax space that embed machine learning into business processes.

Dr. Susie Harding
As VP of Data Science at Arvoia, Dr Susie Harding has been leading the development of the Arvoia behavioural cloud over the last number of years. This includes the development of our proprietary 6D behavioural framework to transform raw data into behavioural data & understanding, the identification of key behavioural-driven AI use cases to solve problems in the Car Rental, Mobility, Hospitality & Telco sectors as well as introducing an end-to-end predictive modelling recommendations framework which puts Arvoia at the forefront of deep learning and behavioural insight.
With more than 10 years of experience, Susie has a unique combination of theoretical expertise from her years completing a PhD in biostatistics at University College Dublin, coupled with experience building big data, behavioural science-driven AI solutions at some of the world’s largest online gaming sites such as PokerStars, Full Tilt and Matchbook.

Colin Kane is the Director of Customer Analytics in Group Marketing at Bank of Ireland. Colin has 15 years’ experience across a wide range of Data and Analytics programmes in Financial service. Colin has experience in Finance, Risk, Marketing, analysis to support Customers in financial difficulty and much more. Currently Colin is responsible for Marketing Effectiveness, Commercial Insights and Analytics for data driven customer engagement.

Ciaran Hickey
Ciarán Hickey is highly respected and widely recognised across Europe for his data science skills and ability to integrate data driven processes into organisations. He has written two published papers on Neural Networks and Artificial Intelligence operating model, and most recently won the ‘Analytics Practitioner of the Year’ award at the annual Analytics Institute Awards in 2020.

Andrew Browne
Andrew holds a BA in ICT from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in MIS also from Trinity College Dublin. Andrew has been working in technology sales for the past 20 years and his career has followed the shift from on premise hardware and software working with Dell, BMC and Oracle to today's fully cloud based IT systems with Qualtrics, ServiceNow and currently Snowflake. His move to Snowflake brings him back to his academic roots where he majored in Relational Database Systems. Andrew has experience working on large IT change programmes across a wide array of verticals including, Telecoms, Financial Services, Pharma, Retail and Manufacturing.

Patrick O'Sullivan
Patrick is currently a Global Digital Integration Manager within the Janssen Supply Chain with key focus on the Partnership & External Supply Organisation. Patrick has held roles across the supply chain on the integration of digital and emerging technology at internal site, platform and network level across the Janssen organisation. He has key focus and passion on creation of business strategy surrounding advanced analytics solutions and ensuring Technology is integrated into the business in a robust and sustainable manner. Patrick’s work has contributed greatly to many of the recent advanced analytics successes across Janssens Manufacturing Platform. More recently the work Patrick lead was one of the key initiatives that supported the world economic forum recognizing the Janssens Biologics facility in Cork, Ireland with lighthouse status. Additionally, Patrick has led the advanced analytics and technology efforts to support Production of J&Js Covid-19 Vaccine across Janssens internal and external facilities and currently is scaling this technology to deploy across Janssens wider external manufacturing network.

Rory Martin
The Head of Commercial Strategy at Sky, Rory is responsible for driving the vision for Sky Ireland. He previously held the role of Head of Insights, building a Research and Analytics function for Sky Ireland. During his career he has conceived and led transformational change programs delivering in the telecoms, entertainment and betting industries.
Rory’s key strength is the ability to interpret complicated analytics and translate them into simple stories that can be understood and actioned across all levels and functions in the business. Rory is passionate about driving more succinct and simple communications in business.

Colin Byrnes
Colin leads global process optimization strategies in Pfizer – one of the world’s premier biopharmaceutical companies. He currently leads transformation of Pfizer’s Global Finance and Business Services - through the digitization of highly complex & regulated global end to end financial operations, deploying analytical solutions, and upskilling a highly qualified non-technical workforce in the effective use of technology and data. Colin has an MBA, MSc. in Chemical Engineering, a Diploma in Accounting, as well as number of certificates including Change Management, Lean and Analytics.
Martin Spollen
Martin leads the Group Data Office at Energia, one of Ireland’s largest energy companies. Energia is a modern vertically integrated energy generation, trading, and supply company (operating as Power NI and Energia), with revenues in excess of €2 billion in 2020.
The Group Data Office ensures robust data governance across the Group, oversees data asset management, and designs and delivers advanced data science systems and services aligned to future strategic energy market transition - enhancing EBITDA and helping to accelerate Ireland’s transition to net zero. Prior to Energia, Martin held senior positions in both the public and private sectors. He holds a PhD in Mathematics and is a US-UK Fulbright Fellow.
Cyril Doret
Cyril joined RSAII from Credit Agricole Assurance where he was Head of Data Management for the Creditor Insurance subsidiary. In his role, he led the Data Management department who collaborate with the businesses to drive organisational changes toward being data driven organisation.
He brings over 16 years’ experience in Data Management, Analysis, and Governance in multiple industries (Semiconductors, Consulting, Financial Services). He has worked with teams in Ireland and across many European countries. Cyril joined RSAII in April 2021 as Head of Data and Analytics where his responsibilities scope from areas of data governance, to implementation of AI and Enterprise data management.
Cyril is an experienced and dedicated Data professional. Graduated from Sorbonne Business School in Business Management (MBA Information and Knowledge Systems) and from University Paris 1 – Pantheon Sorbonne (M.Sc. Applied Mathematics and Information Technology).
Caitriona Lannon
Caitriona is Head of Data and Analytics for Canada Life Europe. She is passionate about Artificial Intelligence and the value that Data can bring to an organisation. She holds a double-first MSc. in Artificial Intelligence and has spearheaded the use of Machine Learning and Generative AI in Canada Life Europe.
She believes foundational capabilities like Data Literacy are key to unlocking value in organisations and stimulating a Data-centric culture. Her focus is on empowering organisations to harness value in their data by building the right foundations and driving transformation in order to integrate AI into the core business. She speaks regularly about Data and the opportunities it can generate.
John Vard
John is a data science leader with over 15 years’ experience in the technology sector. John’s focus is on changing mindsets toward data, by harnessing the power of data science to deliver impactful solutions that drive business success and empower stakeholders.
As Lead Data Scientist for ESW, John contributes to decision-making & data strategy for the business. His expertise spans the entire lifecycle of AI & ML solutions, in areas such as Finance, Payments, and Logistics.
Passionate about data literacy, John appreciates the vital role that literacy plays in cultivating a vibrant data culture and scaling the value of data across organisations.
Emma Scollan
Emma is an experienced senior IT leader with a demonstrated history of working in the Data & Analytics domain in a leadership capacity in the private sector. Emma has over 20 years experience in IT Strategy, Data Governance and Portfolio Management with a successful track record of leading global cross functional teams to deliver complex technical services and data science and analytics projects. Currently the Global Data Enablement Lead for QuidelOrtho, a leading healthcare diagnostics organisation, with responsibility for the design and rollout of new enterprise-wide Data Governance and Literacy programs. Emma holds a degree in Computational Linguistics and a Masters in Ethics.
